About Qobuz Connect Beta
What is Qobuz Connect?
To participate in the Qobuz Connect Beta, you'll need to have a Qobuz subscription, the Qobuz app specifically designed for the beta phase and a compatible device updated to support the beta version.
What do I need for Qobuz Connect Beta?
Can I use Qobuz Connect with Bluetooth or AirPlay?
Qobuz Connect is a proprietary streaming protocol designed for direct streaming to compatible devices. It is not compatible with Bluetooth or AirPlay. For other devices, you can use Bluetooth or AirPlay as alternatives.
Do I need to be on the same network as my device?
Yes, both the Qobuz app and the Qobuz Connect-enabled device must be on the same network for initial setup and playback control.
About the Beta Program
Do I need a specific subscription to use Qobuz Connect Beta?
Yes, you’ll need an active Qobuz streaming subscription to fully test the beta. Additionally, only current subscribers will be selected as beta testers.
Can I control playback on multiple devices simultaneously?
Qobuz Connect allows you to control playback on one device at a time. However, switching between devices is seamless within the app.
I applied to become a beta tester but haven’t heard back yet. What should I do?
If you've already received confirmation from us by email that you have been selected, your approval as a Qobuz beta user is complete. However, we may need additional details on your audio equipment to share with our partner, to ensure you can fully experience Qobuz Connect
Is there a difference in audio quality when using Qobuz Connect?
No, Qobuz Connect streams music directly from Qobuz’s servers to your device, preserving the high-resolution audio quality that Qobuz is renowned for.

Will Qobuz Connect be available on all devices?
The beta phase is limited to specific platforms and devices. We plan to expand compatibility over time and will share updates as new developments occur.
How can I apply to become a Qobuz Connect beta tester?
Any current Qobuz subscriber can apply to become a beta tester by completing the application form. Please note that spots are limited and depend on demand and technical developments. Selection may also depend on the audio brands you plan to use with Qobuz Connect. If you aren’t selected for this phase, rest assured there will be additional opportunities in the future.
Can I update my beta application to include additional audio equipment?
Yes, you can update your beta tester submission by resubmitting the form with your new equipment details. Your updated application will replace the previous one.
How do I provide feedback during the beta phase?
Use the dedicated feedback form to share your experience with Qobuz Connect. Your feedback is essential for improving the feature before its official release.
How to activate the beta
If you’ve already received confirmation from us by email that you’ve been selected for the Qobuz Connect Beta, we’ve whitelisted your Qobuz account tied to the email address you submitted during your application. To finish setting you up for the beta, we’ll need a few more details to get you connected on all platforms and your Hi-Fi devices.

Qobuz Connect is now available for beta with limited spots! We’re thrilled to welcome our very first beta users to the Qobuz Connect Beta Program. Spots will be limited for now and selection will depend on the audio equipment brand and model being used. We sincerely thank all our beta volunteers for their time and feedback and for helping us enhance and perfect this exciting new feature.

A new beta update for the desktop app has been released.
This update improves network device discovery, playback notifications, and play queue synchronization speed. It also includes various minor fixes to enhance overall performance. Please download the updated desktop versions:
